A local SEO quote is useful when it defines the work and who is responsible for it. A monthly price alone does not tell you whether the service covers Business Profiles, website changes, listings, reporting or the work required to resolve an existing problem.
Separate setup from ongoing work
Ask what the initial audit produces, which fixes are included, how many locations and profiles are covered, and whether website development is part of the agreement. List software subscriptions, listing distribution fees, content production and advertising separately. Advertising spend should not disappear inside a vague SEO total.
Compare like-for-like offers
- What changes will be delivered, and on which assets?
- Which tasks require approval or information from your staff?
- Are ownership, access and cancellation arrangements clear?
- What is excluded, and how are extra requests priced?
- What reporting connects the work to qualified enquiries or sales?
For an illustrative three-branch operator, a low-cost profile-posting service and a project rebuilding location pages are different purchases. Compare them against the actual audit findings rather than assuming either price represents complete SEO.
Assess the business case
Estimate the additional work your team can serve and the value of a qualified outcome using your own records. Include staff time and fulfilment costs. Treat proposed traffic or lead increases as scenarios unless supported by suitable evidence. No fee buys a guaranteed first position.
Check the current offer at its source
Grow Wild's local SEO service page describes its current plans. Confirm currency, scope, location count and any additional work with the agency before buying. This reference does not treat a listings-only offer as the price of a complete local SEO programme.
Use agency selection questions to request a concrete scope and a measurement plan.
